Open in photoshop +Selection tools

Open in photoshop + Selection tools

Selection tools in photoshop are used when you want to
edit the picture, change colour shape or
copy and remove something from the image.

To open a file in photoshop there are two ways of doing it dragging the image onto the photoshop icon on the screen or file + open .

To open my image i have use the dragging method.

This is the image I want to use my selection tools on .

Im using Rectangular Marquee tool to select the area on the image .

To change the selected area  to the outside selection I have used Select + Inverse .

To make the image look more creative I'm going to make the outside of the selected backgraund white by deleting it. Select + Modify + Feather

To delete the outside I have pressed DELETE and set the contest to white.

 This is the final image.

The final members of this group are the Single Row Marquee Tool and the Single Column Marquee Tool.  As suggested by the name, these tools just select a single row of pixels, either vertical or horizontal. They can be used for adding straight lines or a border to an image.
