Curves is one of the most useful tools in photoshop it allows you to fine the tones in the contrast on the image, it can be used in the destructive or non descriptive way , the safe way of not destroying the picture is non descriptive way is by using layers.
For my image I have moved the line down at the top and at the bottom to give my picture darker contrast.
I have use non descriptive way because if I didn't like the image after changing the curves I can easily
delete the curves layer without damaging the original image.
